On the 2.4L turbo in the current Tacoma, 4Runner and Land Cruiser, the last bend before the throttle body is one of the tightest spots in the air path. SXTH measures the factory elbow at about 46mm at its narrowest. This inlet replaces it with a 61.5mm passage, which works out to roughly 79% more cross-sectional area at that point. The idea is simple: less pressure drop across the elbow means the turbo does not have to work as hard to deliver the same boost at the manifold.
How it is built
The tube is cast aluminum and the flange is billet 6061 aluminum. The two are joined with a back-purged TIG weld, and SXTH finishes the inside so there is no seam, step or weld bead sitting in the airflow.
Fitment
Fits the 2.4L turbo (T24A-FTS) in the 2024+ Tacoma and 2025+ 4Runner, gas i-FORCE and hybrid i-FORCE MAX, and the 2024+ Land Cruiser (1958, Base and First Edition), which is hybrid only.
Install
A direct bolt-on between the factory charge pipe and throttle body. It reuses the OEM sealing ring, needs no cutting and no ECU calibration, and goes back to stock if you ever want it to.
What it will not tell you yet
SXTH has not posted dyno results for this part, so we are not quoting a horsepower number. Treat it as a restriction fix for now, and one that pairs naturally with the rest of a built intake tract. It is a sensible add alongside SXTH's turbo inlet and charge pipe kit.

No. SXTH says no ECU calibration is required.
Does it fit the hybrid?
Yes. It fits gas i-FORCE and hybrid i-FORCE MAX Tacomas and 4Runners, and the Land Cruiser, which is hybrid only.
