How to make a SXTH Element warranty claim

- A rep replies within 3 business days
- Ship the part in, freight prepaid, for inspection
- Allow about 1-5 weeks; fixed or replaced items ship to the original order address unless you ask otherwise

This is SXTH Element's in-house ECU calibration for the 2024+ Toyota 2.4T, delivered the remote way. After you order, an EcuTek Bluetooth OBDII dongle ships to you. You plug in, read your stock ECU data from your driveway with the EcuTek ECU Connect app on your phone, and send the read back with a setup form covering your mods, fuel and goals. SXTH Element builds a flash file for your truck and sends it back, and you load it from your phone.
The vendor says the calibrations were validated over thousands of miles and large elevation swings, from sea level to above 11,000 feet, with the aim of smooth power delivery for daily driving and towing rather than only dyno numbers.
Choosing a tune level
Standard Flash is a flash-only tune built around your specific mods and fuel, and it includes a datalog review after you flash. It does not include multiple rounds of revisions. It uses two maps in one flash, a high torque map and a low torque map, switchable with the cruise control buttons. SXTH Element lists +21% torque on the high map. Custom Calibration adds the back-and-forth: datalog review and revisions based on your logs and feedback, which suits more complex setups or specific power goals.

What do I receive after ordering?
An EcuTek Bluetooth OBDII dongle. You use it with the EcuTek ECU Connect app to read your ECU, then send the read and setup details back for your file.
What is the difference between Standard Flash and Custom Calibration?
Standard Flash is a flash-only tune built around your mods and fuel with a datalog review after flashing. Custom Calibration includes datalog review and revisions across multiple logs and feedback.
Do I have to take the truck to a shop?
No. The read and flash are done from your phone through the dongle.
