ReadyLIFT's forged torsion key leveling kit is built for GM's full-size 8-lug trucks and SUVs. It raises the front by up to 2.5 inches and makes room for tires up to 33 inches in diameter, or 35 inches on the Hummer H2. Shock extensions are in the kit, so the front shocks keep working at the new height.
Why it works
- Forged torsion keys: the lift comes from changing torsion bar preload, not from adding spacers to the suspension.
- Up to 2.5 inches: enough front height to level the truck.
- Tire room: up to 33-inch tires, or 35-inch on the Hummer H2.
- Shock extensions included: no need to buy them separately.
Fitment
2000 through 2010 Silverado 1500 and 2500 HD, 8-lug, 2WD and 4WD. 2000 through 2012 2500 HD Suburban and Yukon XL, 8-lug. 2003 through 2010 Hummer H2. Suburban, Yukon XL and Hummer are outside our usual model list, but ReadyLIFT lists them for this kit. Part number 66-3050.
In the box
- Forged torsion keys
- Shock extensions
Install notes
Torsion key kits work by changing torsion bar preload. A torsion bar unloading tool is the safe way to handle that step, so have one on hand before you start.
