This ReadyLIFT torsion key leveling kit, part 66-3070, raises the front of the first-generation Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon by up to 2.25 inches. It works with the factory torsion bar suspension, using a forged key to change ride height.
Why it works
- Forged key: ride height is set with a forged torsion key.
- Uses the factory bars: it adjusts the torsion bar you already have.
- Up to 2.25 inches: enough to take out the factory rake.
Fitment
2004 through 2012 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, torsion bar suspension only. The vendor also lists the 2005 through 2010 Hummer H3 and H3T 4WD. Some listings show 2002 as the start year; the vendor's description says 2004, and we go with 2004.
Install notes
Torsion key kits adjust preload on the torsion bar. A torsion bar unloading tool is the safe way to do it, and an alignment afterward is standard.
