Vendor warranty summary

Overland Vehicle Systems Warranty

At a glance: coverage depends on the line: limited lifetime on Expedition truck cap structure and XD awning frames, 6 years on XD tents and XD awning fabric, 4 years on HD tents and awnings, 2 years on LD tents

This is Overland Vehicle Systems's policy, not an NVMOS policy. OVS doesn't publish one warranty document. Its product pages say coverage and terms vary by product, so we've pulled the terms from each OVS product line's own pages and summarized them in plain English. Where an OVS page shows a generic warranty badge that disagrees with the product's own warranty text, we use the product text. The manufacturer's official terms always govern and can change without notice. Last reviewed on nvmos.com: October 15, 2026.

Four-Point Rigging Link for Tricky Winch Pulls

Some recoveries don't line up with one clean anchor: the truck is sideways, the only tree is off at an angle, or you need to split a load between two points. The OVS R.D.L. is an 8-inch aluminum rigging plate with four connection points that lets you build multi-anchor setups and balance the pull instead of loading one point.

It's made from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in black powder coat, with a 45,000 lb breaking strength. The shape is symmetrical, so rigging works the same whichever way it's oriented, and an angle scale on the plate helps you estimate sling angles. It accepts soft shackles or 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch steel shackles. Find more rigging hardware in our shackles and D-rings collection.

Why it works
Four rigging pointsTie multiple anchors or lines into one connection.
Angle scale built inHelps you judge sling angles before you load it.
Light but strongAircraft-grade aluminum rated to 45,000 lb breaking strength.
Fitment

Universal. The R.D.L. works with any winch setup that uses soft shackles or 3/4 inch or 7/8 inch shackles.

Good to know

Breaking strength is not working load, so rig with a working limit well below the 45,000 lb figure and check the published rating on the product before use. Shackles are not included. If you're new to multi-point rigging, pair this with a soft shackle kit and a tree saver and practice before you need it. Not sure it fits your setup? Call us at (920) 249-7744 and a real person will check it.

OVS R.D.L. 8 in 4-Way Recovery Distribution Link FAQs

What is a recovery distribution link used for?

What shackles work with it?

Soft shackles, or 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch steel shackles.

Are shackles included?

No. The R.D.L. is sold on its own.

What is it rated for?

The breaking strength is 45,000 lb. Always rig to the working load limit, not the breaking strength.
