Vendor warranty summary
Overland Vehicle Systems Warranty
At a glance: coverage depends on the line: limited lifetime on Expedition truck cap structure and XD awning frames, 6 years on XD tents and XD awning fabric, 4 years on HD tents and awnings, 2 years on LD tents
This is Overland Vehicle Systems's policy, not an NVMOS policy. OVS doesn't publish one warranty document. Its product pages say coverage and terms vary by product, so we've pulled the terms from each OVS product line's own pages and summarized them in plain English. Where an OVS page shows a generic warranty badge that disagrees with the product's own warranty text, we use the product text. The manufacturer's official terms always govern and can change without notice. Last reviewed on nvmos.com: October 15, 2026.

2.5 in Billet Aluminum Recovery Ring
A snatch block is heavy, has moving parts and is awkward to rig. A recovery ring does the same job of redirecting a synthetic winch line or doubling your pulling power, but it's a single machined piece that fits in a pocket. The OVS 2.5 inch ring is made to be rigged with a soft shackle.
It's precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, with a breaking strength of 35,000 lb (155 kN) and a working load limit of 10,000 lb. OVS rates it stronger than a traditional snatch block. A storage bag with a quick-cinch closure keeps it from getting lost in the recovery bin. Pick up soft shackles and more rigging in our shackles and D-rings collection.
Universal. For use with synthetic winch lines only, rigged with a soft shackle. It can also be used with a standard tow strap.
OVS specifies this ring for synthetic winch lines only, so don't run steel cable through it. A soft shackle is not included. The storage bag comes in the box. Not sure it fits your setup? Call us at (920) 249-7744 and a real person will check it.
