These side marker assemblies replace the front fender turn signal housings on a Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT with an LED unit that uses a smoked polycarbonate lens and amber Osram LEDs. They bolt to the original mounting points and, per Morimoto, take about 30 minutes to install. The housing is injection-molded ABS and the lens is UV-resistant polycarbonate.
Each assembly is plug-and-play, with the modules, connectors and wiring needed to avoid hyper-flash and errors. They work with both halogen and upgraded LED setups. Morimoto positions them as OE-quality parts, and says they are not the cheapest option on the market.
Fitment
Jeep Wrangler JL, 2018 and newer, excluding the base Sport model, and Jeep Gladiator JT, 2020 and newer, in both cases for vehicles without OEM LED side markers. Turn signals can be the OEM incandescent type or Morimoto XB LED. One fitment note from Morimoto: compared with the OEM part, there is a gap of about 1.5 mm larger between the front DRL and the edge of the side marker. You can trim a little plastic from the mounts with a rotary tool to tighten it up.
