These Morimoto XB LED license plate lights are complete replacement assemblies for the 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra, not bulbs for your old housings. The idea is to swap the whole lamp for one with Osram LEDs and a UV-coated polycarbonate lens in a smoked finish, so the plate light matches the color and crispness of any other LED lighting on the truck.
Morimoto describes the lifespan as virtually infinite and says the lens resists fading better than cheaper alternatives. It also says the lights are plug and play with the factory connectors, with no error codes, flicker, hyper-flash or radio interference, and that installing them does not void your factory warranty. Output is white. This is the LF7725 version.
Fitment
Listed for the 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra. These are replacement assemblies, so the vehicle must already have stock license plate lights to swap out. Morimoto guarantees fitment for the listed vehicles.
What's included
Two XB LED license plate lights (one pair).
Install notes
The design is plug and play with no modifications required. Remove the factory assemblies and connect the new ones to the existing connectors.
