Morimoto Supercharged Drivers — Ford F-150 (2018–2020) XB Evo / XB Evo Hybrid
Morimoto runs the standard drivers in its XB Evo headlights below what the LED projectors can actually handle, because that is what keeps the lights DOT compliant. These Supercharged drivers replace the standard ones on the back of the 2018–2020 F-150 XB Evo (LF2-501) and XB Evo Hybrid (LF2-501Y) housings and raise output by roughly 30–50%.
The trade-off is simple: with these installed, the headlights are no longer road legal in the US or Canada. They are for trucks that spend real time off pavement and owners who want the extra light there. Install is a direct bolt-on swap with screws and grease included, and LED status indicators on each driver show switched ignition power (red), low beam (green) and high beam (blue) to help with troubleshooting. On the XB Evo Hybrid, the SC drivers also add a welcome sequence.
They do not work with factory headlights or other brands. Morimoto covers them with a five-year limited warranty.

Are these street legal?
No. The added brightness puts the headlights over the legal limit in the US and Canada, so they are for off-road use only.
Which headlights do they work with?
Only Morimoto XB Evo (LF2-501) and XB Evo Hybrid (LF2-501Y) headlights for the 2018–2020 Ford F-150. They will not work with factory headlights.
How hard is the install?
They are a direct replacement for the standard drivers and bolt on at the back of the headlight housings. Screws and a grease packet are included.
Do they affect the headlight warranty?
Morimoto designs them as a drop-in upgrade for its own headlights, and the drivers carry Morimoto's five-year limited warranty.
