How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

The stock front skid on a 5th gen 4Runner is .050" sheet metal, which is fine for gravel and not much else. M.O.R.E.'s front skid plate swaps it for 1/4" aluminum so the oil pan has real protection when the front end comes down on a rock.
An access door lets you do oil changes without unbolting the plate. There is also a cross-pattern jacking pad area, so you can lift the truck from the skid without damaging it.
It fits KDSS-equipped 5th gen 4Runners from 2010 on, and it will not fit with a KDSS sway bar drop kit installed. Colors: Bare Aluminum, Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand. M.O.R.E. also makes this plate in steel — heavier and cheaper, if weight is not your priority.
M.O.R.E. makes aluminum skid plates to order. Bare aluminum may need up to 10 business days before shipping, and colors other than black can add about 15 business days. Bare plates show some minor manufacturing scratches.
Install tip: support the plate on a jack while starting the bolts, torque to spec and re-check after your first trail day.

No. M.O.R.E. says it will not fit with a KDSS sway bar drop kit.
