M.O.R.E. Heavy Duty Steering Box Mount with 1 in. Offset - Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995
On a YJ, the tie rod and drag link can end up stacked right on top of each other, and once the suspension starts working they get in each other's way. This M.O.R.E. heavy duty steering box bracket moves the box 1 inch forward, so the two links have room to move without hitting each other on the trail.
It fits the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ and is built stronger than the stock bracket. It has mounting provisions for the stock sway bar, so you do not lose that when you upgrade.
Choose bare steel if you want to paint it yourself, or yellow zinc plating for corrosion protection right out of the box. Moving the box changes your steering geometry a little, so check drag link length and steering wheel centering after install, and get the front end aligned. M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, laser cut and welded in-house in the USA.
M.O.R.E. backs its parts with the RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail purchaser, for as long as they own the vehicle, against product failure. Rubber, urethane and the finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and neither is labor or shipping.
