M.O.R.E. Rear Upper Shock Mounts - Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995

The factory rear upper shock mounts on a YJ limit how long a shock you can run, and the usual workaround involves cutting into the tub. These M.O.R.E. brackets move the mount so you can run rear shocks about 2 inches longer than the stock mounts allow, with no body cutting and no body lift required.

They are made from 3/8" thick steel and bolt to the frame. Two holes get drilled in the frame, then the brackets bolt on. This is M.O.R.E.'s redesigned version, and it is very heavy duty for what it does.

Fitment is the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Plan on a little trimming: both the fuel filter skid plate and the body-mounted muffler heat shield need slight modifications for clearance.

Once they are in, pick shocks to match your actual travel. Cycle the suspension to check for bottoming or topping out, and re-check the mounting bolts after the first trail run.
