How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

Lift and big tires make the climb into a Gladiator a lot taller. M.O.R.E.'s Hide-A-Step mounts below the door and drops your first step by 11 inches. It is spring loaded, so it tucks itself back up once you are in.
When the trail gets rocky, pull the two grenade-style pins and the step comes off; stash it behind the seat and you get your clearance back. Slide the pins back in when you return to pavement. This one is zinc plated first and then powder coated, so there is a corrosion layer under the color.
It fits the front and rear doors on the Gladiator JT, and it is sold individually, so order one per door you want covered. It does not work with aftermarket sliders, Sahara sliders, or special-edition Rubicon sliders that have an extra bar welded on. Plan on one to two hours to install.
Prefer a different finish? M.O.R.E. also offers this step in zinc-only silver. M.O.R.E. has been building off-road parts in Delta, Colorado since Chris Overacker started the company in his garage in 1978. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, cut on Mazak lasers and welded by certified welders, all in-house in the USA.

Do I need one for each door?
Yes. The Hide-A-Step is sold individually and fits either a front or rear door, so order one for every door you want a step on.
Will it work with my rock sliders?
Not with aftermarket sliders, Sahara sliders, or special-edition Rubicon sliders that have a bar welded on.
Can I take it off for the trail?
Yes. Pull two pins and the step comes off for clearance; pin it back on when you are done.
How long is the install?
M.O.R.E. says to allow one to two hours.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. It is covered by M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail buyer while they own the vehicle. The finish and any rubber or urethane pieces are wear items and excluded, and install labor and shipping are not covered.
