This is M.O.R.E.'s shackle reversal system (S.R.S.) for the front suspension of the YJ, with the shackles hung from a weld-in tube. M.O.R.E. was the first to bring the shackle reversal system to CJ and YJ owners as a kit you could put on at home.
This version fits 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJs. The front pivot brackets come fully welded and bolt to the stock shackle mount, the lower front bumper mounting holes and one hole you drill in the frame. Your shackles then hang from a tube that welds through the frame. It works with or without a lift, spring under or over the axle, and you keep your shackles.
Ride height depends on the bracket. Standard brackets do not lift the front. Stubby brackets drop the front about 7/8 in. and add 3-4 degrees of caster. Choose standard or stubby front brackets, bare or powder coated in Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand.
Plan the rest of the job. The front driveshaft needs a long-travel slip-in stub, and M.O.R.E. recommends running its SlipLoc or Double Jointed trac bar with any Wrangler S.R.S. The pivot bolts are greaseable, which keeps the critical joints serviceable. The weld-in hanger means this is a job for someone comfortable with a welder or a good fab shop.
Made in the USA in Delta, Colorado.

Does this kit require welding?
The front brackets bolt on, but the shackle hanger is a tube that welds through the frame, so plan on welding.
Will it change my ride height?
Standard brackets do not lift the front. Stubby brackets drop the front about 7/8 in.
Do I need to modify my driveshaft?
Yes. The front driveshaft needs a long-travel slip-in stub.
What is the stubby bracket option?
The stubby front brackets sit lower than standard and add 3-4 degrees of caster, which changes ride height as noted for this kit.
What trac bar should I run?
M.O.R.E. recommends its SlipLoc or Double Jointed trac bar with any Wrangler S.R.S.
