How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

These greaseable M.O.R.E. boomerang shackles are set up for springs with a military wrap, and the bushing options cover both YJ and CJ applications.
It fits 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ and 1976-1986 Jeep CJ, front or rear, on military wrap springs. At 5-1/4 in. center to center, it adds roughly 5/8 in. of lift. Bushing choices cover YJ stock 1.25 in., YJ aftermarket 1.5 in., Skyjacker YJ 1 in., CJ front 2 in. wide with 1 in. eyes, and CJ rear 2.5 in. wide with 1 in. eyes. Measure your spring eye or call your spring maker before you pick.
M.O.R.E. laser cuts these shackles from 3/8 in. steel. Each bolt is drilled and carries a zerk, so grease can work its way through the drilled sleeves and into the black, channeled polyurethane bushings, and Crimp-Loc nuts keep the whole stack clamped tight. The gold zinc plating gives them a clean finish. A thick-walled center brace bolts between the side plates with grade 5 hardware. Shackles are sold in pairs, so order two pairs if you are doing both ends of the Jeep.
With the Jeep safely supported, swap one side at a time, torque to spec, grease the zerks until fresh grease shows, and recheck after the first trail run. After that, add grease as part of routine service.

How do I know which bushing option to order?
Measure your spring eye and width, or call the manufacturer of your springs. The options cover stock and aftermarket YJ springs, Skyjacker YJ springs, and CJ front and rear springs.
Is this enough for my whole Jeep?
No. Each order is a pair. Order two pairs to do both ends.
Are these for military wrap springs only?
Yes, this version is listed for springs with a military wrap.
How do these get greased?
Each shackle bolt is drilled and has a zerk, so a standard grease gun can push grease through to the channeled polyurethane bushings.
Are the bushings covered by the lifetime warranty?
The steel parts carry M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty against product failure for the original buyer. Polyurethane bushings and the plated finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and labor and shipping are excluded.
