M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof Motor Mounts - Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995 & TJ 1997-2006 4.0L/4.2L
Stock motor mounts struggle with the torque and abuse a trail-built Wrangler dishes out. These M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof mounts replace them with steel mounts and polyurethane bushings that keep the six-cylinder planted.
This kit is for Jeep Wrangler YJ (1987-1995) and TJ (1997-2006) with the inline-six, either the 4.2L or the 4.0L. Both mounts bolt to the stock frame and engine locations, so the job needs no welding or drilling. You can order them zinc plated for corrosion resistance, or bare with no plating if you would rather paint them yourself.
The polyurethane bushings hold the engine firmly, which is the point: a drivetrain that stays where it belongs on the trail. M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, laser cut and welded in-house in the USA.
Torque the hardware to spec and check it again after the first trail run. M.O.R.E. backs its parts with the RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail purchaser, for as long as they own the vehicle, against product failure. Rubber, urethane and the finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and neither is labor or shipping.
