These Bomb Proof motor mounts are for the six-cylinder Jeep Wrangler YJ (1987-1995) and Wrangler TJ / LJ (1997-2006) with a 1-inch body lift installed. Under high torque, stock mounts can twist, tear or give out. M.O.R.E.'s Bomb Proof mounts replace weak factory rubber with gold zinc-plated steel brackets and polyurethane bushings, which M.O.R.E. says help reduce vibration.

M.O.R.E. lists them for the 4.0L and 4.2L sixes. They mount to the stock frame and engine holes, and M.O.R.E. lists no welding. You can order them zinc plated or unplated; plating holds off rust, while bare steel is there if you plan to coat them yourself.

M.O.R.E. lists these only for Jeeps with a 1-inch body lift installed, and says they are trail-tested on YJs and TJs in Moab and Colorado.

The steel is covered under M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty; the polyurethane bushings are a wear item and aren't. Torque everything to spec and re-check after the first trail run.
