M.O.R.E. 1 inch Body Lift with Poly Body Mounts - Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995 5-Speed

M.O.R.E. invented the one-inch body lift puck for Jeeps more than 20 years ago. The idea is simple: bigger tires and flexier suspension need room, and lifting the body an inch off the frame usually finds it without giving the YJ an obviously lifted stance.

This kit is specific to the 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ with a 5-speed manual transmission, so confirm your transmission before ordering — the 5-speed version is the one listed here. The pucks are 6061-T6 aluminum: they will not crush or break, and once bolted in they do not wander. Polyurethane body mounts are part of the kit, so worn rubber gets replaced at the same time.

The natural aluminum finish looks clean under the tub, and there are no plastic spacers in the stack to crack.

Trade-offs to know about: an inch of body lift changes how body-mounted parts line up with frame- and drivetrain-mounted ones. After install, check the shifter and transfer case linkage, steering shaft, fan shroud, and brake and fuel lines for clearance and slack. YJ body bolts are often seized, so soak them in penetrant ahead of time and have spare hardware ready.
