This is M.O.R.E.'s one-inch body lift for the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 5-speed manual. M.O.R.E. came up with the one-inch aluminum body lift puck more than 20 years ago, and the idea still holds: lift the tub an inch off the frame and you get room for bigger tires and a flexier suspension without the Jeep looking jacked up.
M.O.R.E. lists this kit for YJs with the 5-speed manual transmission, so confirm what's under your floor before you order.
The pucks are 6061-T6 aluminum, not plastic. Once the body bolts are torqued they won't compress, crack or walk around, and they're left in natural aluminum so there's no paint to chip. M.O.R.E. designs and builds its parts in-house in Delta, Colorado.
An inch is a modest change, and that is the appeal: in a lot of cases it's enough to stop tire rub without touching suspension geometry. Before you start, check clearances on anything that ties body to frame, such as the shifter, steering, radiator shroud and bumpers. Torque the body mounts to spec and re-check them after the first trail run.

M.O.R.E. 1 Inch Body Lift FAQs
Does this fit an automatic YJ?
M.O.R.E. lists this kit for the 5-speed manual YJ only. If yours is an automatic, call us before ordering.
Why aluminum instead of plastic or poly spacers?
M.O.R.E. makes its pucks from 6061-T6 aluminum so they hold their shape and stay put once bolted in, with no plastic to crack or age.
Does a body lift change my suspension?
No. A body lift raises the body relative to the frame; suspension geometry is unchanged. It's a way to clear larger tires.
Will one inch be enough?
M.O.R.E. says it gives the extra clearance most owners need. If you're stepping up several tire sizes you may also need suspension lift.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail buyer for as long as they own the vehicle. Finish, rubber and urethane are wear items and not covered, and neither are altered parts, wrong-vehicle installs, improper installation, fire or accident. M.O.R.E. repairs or replaces at its discretion; labor and shipping are not included.
