How is the Max+ different from the Max?
Wider tire capacity. The Max+ uses MaxHold HD tracks for rear tires up to 9 in. and an extra-wide front chock for tires up to 5.5 in., where the Max takes 6 in. rear and 4.75 in. front.
What bikes is it built for?
MotoTote aims it at sport bikes, scramblers and dual sports up to 600 lbs.
What hitch does it need?
A standard 2 in. receiver whose tongue weight rating covers the bike plus the 61 lb carrier. MotoTote's fit calculator will check it.
Are tie-downs included?
Straps aren't listed with the carrier. It has BroadPull+ arms front and rear, and MotoTote sells tie-downs separately.
