KC HiLiTES Platform One Roof Rack, 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner
Platform One is KC's vehicle-specific roof rack, and this one is built for the 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner (5th Gen). This is the rack on its own, no lights, for builds that want a clean, low platform for gear now and room for lighting later. See every KC HiLiTES part we carry.
KC calls it a hybrid design: precision-formed sheet-metal side rails for a finished look, with adjustable support crossbars and a slotted upper deck that work like a full platform rack. The deck sits a maximum of 3.75" above the roof, and the side rails hide internal wire channels (KC's Power-Ready design) so any lights you add route cleanly. No drilling. It bolts to the vehicle's factory roof mounting points, and KC rates the install as moderate. Browse Toyota 4Runner parts.
Planning lights? KC's Profile 10" SideCast lights drop into the side rails, and KC recommends installing them during the initial rack assembly, since adding them later can mean partial disassembly. They need the SideCast wiring kit for this vehicle. Running the rack without side lights? Add the side light delete plates. Up front, KC pairs this rack with the 50" Gravity Titan 8-light light bar, or buy everything together as the Platform One with 360° Lighting 4Runner kit. Some photos show the rack with lighting installed; lights are not included.
