What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics Stage Series Security Hardware Kit swaps the standard mounting bolts on your Diode lights for keyed stainless steel security hardware. One kit secures a pair of pods or a single CrossLink light bar. It is universal, with versions for SSC1/C2, C2 2.0, SS3, SS5 and SS5 CrossLink.
Why it works
Pods mounted on a bumper are held on by a couple of bolts, and anyone with the right socket can walk off with them. Security hardware means they need the key, not just a wrench. The kit includes security nuts, bolts and the key, all in stainless steel, which makes sense for hardware that lives outside through salty winters.
