What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SSC1 White Sport LED Pod is a pair of pods from the Stage Series C1 family: an ultra-compact, single-LED light running a 10-watt LED chip (Cree XP-L HI). It's a universal light, and the 6000K white output fits trucks and SUVs that need small, serious light where a big pod won't fit.
Why it works
- Small footprint. One LED in a compact housing means it fits cowls, pillars, bumpers and other tight spots.
- Color with a purpose. 6000K white is the crisp, daylight-style color most people pick for picking out detail on a trail or job site.
- Built to take abuse. Pin-fin heatsink with passive cooling, a polycarbonate lens over an aluminum casting, and an IP69K rating for high-pressure water.
- Plug-in wiring. An integrated Deutsch-style (DT) connector makes for a clean, serviceable connection.
- Tested. Compliance listed by Diode Dynamics: SAE J575 Durability Test.

Options
- Beam pattern: Wide — a broad spread for side and close-range lighting; Flood — a broad, even spread for lighting up close to the vehicle; Spot — a tight beam that reaches the farthest down the trail.
- Backlight: amber or red. The backlight is a low-draw accent glow that runs on its own circuit, separate from the main beam.
- Quantity: two pods. Diode Dynamics also sells this pod as a single if you need a different count.
- Not every beam and backlight combination is offered; the selector only shows the ones that exist.
Fitment
Universal. This is not a vehicle-specific light — it mounts wherever you can get a solid surface and a wiring path. For a standard mount, the SSC1 Universal Bracket Kit holds one or two C1 pods. Runs on 9–16V and is polarity specific, so wire it positive to positive.

Is this one pod or two?
This listing is a pair — two pods. Diode Dynamics also offers it as a single.
Which beam pattern should I choose?
Spot for distance, Flood for close-in area lighting, Wide for a broad side spread. A common setup is spot or wide up front and flood for work or reverse lighting.
What's the difference between Sport and Pro?
Sport uses a 10-watt LED chip and draws about 1A; Pro uses a 20-watt chip and draws about 1.5A for roughly double the flood output. Same housing and connector.
What do I need to wire it?
The pod has a Deutsch DT input and runs on 9–16V; it's polarity specific. Diode Dynamics sells DT-ready harnesses such as the Light Duty Dual Output 4-pin harness, which powers pods with backlight. Call or text the real humans at NVMOS, (920) 249-7744.
What does the backlight do?
It's a low-power accent glow (about 0.3 watts) on its own circuit, so you can run it with or without the main beam when the harness supports it.
