What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SSC1 SAE Type G3M Fog Light Kit swaps the factory fog lamps on the Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado HD ZR2 Bison, GMC Canyon, GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 for compact SSC1 LED pods with a road-legal SAE fog beam. It installs plug and play, and the mounting hardware is included, so it is an easy upgrade over stock fogs.

Options
Choose White SAE Fog or Yellow SAE Fog. Both use the same SAE fog optic; the color temperatures listed are 6000K and 3000K. Each pod draws about 19.2 watts on the main beam, plus 0.3 watts for the backlight.
