What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SS40 White LED Light Bar is a 41.63-inch-long Stage Series bar for trucks and SUVs, with 6000K white output, patented TIR optics and a choice of beam patterns and power levels. It is universal and mounts with stainless steel brackets, so it works on a bumper, grille opening, roof or rack. It is built to take weather and pressure washing.

- SmartSelect option. SmartSelect models add a welcome sequence and a selectable backlight color.

- IP69K. Rated for high-pressure water intrusion, with passive heatsink cooling and a 9-30V operating range.
