What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SS3 White Max LED Pod is a single 3.3-inch-square auxiliary light at the SS3 Max power level, ready to bolt anywhere on a truck or SUV — bumper, grille, ditch-light bracket or rack. It pairs modern TIR optics with Osram Boost HX emitters and a backlight accent, so it works hard at night and still looks clean in daylight.
Why it works
- TIR optics deliver very high intensity — the SAE Driving Max version is rated at about 98,000 candela.
- Max power level: about 38.5 watts on the main beam, plus a 0.4-watt backlight.
- Powdercoated aluminum casting, polycarbonate lens and rubber gasket, rated IP69K for high-pressure water.
- Passive pin-fin heatsink — no fan, nothing to clog.
- Integrated Deutsch-style DT connector for clean, sealed wiring.
- Made in the USA with global materials.
Options
Pick a beam, then a backlight color. SAE Driving and SAE Fog are the road-legal patterns; Flood spreads light wide for work areas and trails, Spot reaches far down the road, and Combo/Driving blends the two. The backlight comes in Amber or Red — amber is offered on every beam, red on Flood, Spot and Combo/Driving. This listing is one pod; order two for a matched pair.
Fitment
Universal. The SS3 pod mounts wherever you have a solid bracket and switched 12V power, and connects through its Deutsch DT input. It is polarity specific, so wire positive and negative correctly.
