What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SS3 White Max LED Pod is a pair of 3-inch Stage Series pods at the top Max power level, using modern TIR optics and Osram Boost HX LEDs. It's a universal light for trucks and SUVs, and the 6000K white output with an amber or red backlight gives you real forward or fog lighting from a compact cube.
Why it works
- TIR optics. Total internal reflection optics shape the beam tightly, which Diode Dynamics credits for the SS3's class-leading intensity.
- Color with a purpose. 6000K white is the crisp, daylight-style color most people pick for picking out detail on a trail or job site.
- Tough housing. Powder-coated aluminum casting, polycarbonate lens, rubber gasket, passive pin-fin heatsink and an IP69K high-pressure waterproof rating.
- Clean wiring. Integrated Deutsch-style DT connector; runs -40°F to 185°F.
- Made in USA with global materials, per Diode Dynamics.
Options
- Beam pattern: SAE Driving — an SAE-compliant driving beam for use on the road; SAE Fog — a wide, flat, low-cutoff beam built to the SAE fog standard for road use; Flood — a broad, even spread for lighting up close to the vehicle; Spot — a tight beam that reaches the farthest down the trail; Combo/Driving — reach plus a wider fill, a strong all-round forward pattern.
- Backlight: amber or red accent glow, drawing about 0.4 watts on its own circuit.
- Quantity: two pods; Diode Dynamics also sells the SS3 Max as a single.
- Not every beam and backlight combination is offered; the selector shows the ones that exist.
Fitment
Universal — bumper, A-pillar, grille or fog pocket, wherever you can mount it solidly. Two SS3 pods can be joined into one unit with the SS3 Dual-Pod Bracket Kit. The pod is polarity specific, so wire it positive to positive.
