What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics SS10 LED Chase Light is a compact rear light bar that combines a programmable chase light, a SafetyStrobe brake light and a high-power reverse light in one housing. It is universal, so it mounts to a rack, bumper or tailgate area, and it is made in USA with global materials.
Why it works
Three jobs, one light. The amber chase function has 20 selectable strobing patterns for following vehicles on the trail, the red brake light has 3 programmable SafetyStrobe modes, and the white reverse light can be triggered by your vehicle’s reverse signal if you wire it that way. The housing is A360 cast aluminum with a pin-fin heatsink, a rubber gasket and a polycarbonate lens, and the light is IP69K rated.
Fitment
Universal. Deutsch DT input, 9–16V, 18AWG wiring, polarity specific. If you are putting it on a Kuat IBEX bed rack, Diode Dynamics also sells the IBEX with an SS10 integrated.

What does a chase light do?
It faces rearward so vehicles behind you on the trail can see you in dust or bad weather. The SS10 has 20 selectable strobing patterns for that.
Can it work as a reverse light?
Yes. It has a high-power white reverse function that can be triggered by the vehicle’s reverse signal.
How do I wire it?
