What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component

- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics HitchMount LED Pod 10-Pin Reverse Kit puts an SSC1 or C1R LED pod in your 2-inch or 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver and wires it to the 10-Pin trailer connector. You get a serious reverse light where the factory bulbs fall short, and with the C1R version, a fourth brake light and an extra running light too.
Why it works
Factory reverse lights on most trucks are weak, and the hitch receiver is already sitting dead center at the back of the vehicle. Diode Dynamics quotes about a 5-minute installation, with no custom wiring and no wires to route. The C1R + Brake kit can also strobe the brake light with optional SafetyStrobe to get attention from the driver behind you. The pods are cast aluminum with pin-fin heatsinks, rubber gaskets and polycarbonate lenses. Designed and assembled in the USA.

- C1R + Brake: the C1R pod, 1,080 measured lumens and 480 cd in 6000K white, with the brake and running-light functions.
- C1: an SSC1 Sport white pod, 1,030 measured lumens and 400 cd, for reverse lighting.
