What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics x Kuat DEK is an all-metal roof rack with Diode Dynamics lighting built into the front edge — either an SS5 CrossLink pod bar or a Stage Series light bar. It comes in vehicle-specific versions for the Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser 250 and Lexus GX550, plus five universal sizes, and it is rated for 300 lb dynamic and 1,000 lb static.
Why it works
Most roof lighting is an afterthought bolted to a rack. Here the light is part of the rack, so there is no extra bracket to add and the wiring is planned from the start. Crossbars adjust to clear antennas and sunroofs, and adjustable T-channels make it easy to mount gear. The integrated lights are IP69K rated and the rack carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Options
- Size: universal 47 x 50, 47 x 60, 54 x 61, 54 x 71 or 54 x 81 inches (W x L), or a vehicle-specific fit: 4Runner 5th Gen, 4Runner 6th Gen, Tacoma 2nd/3rd Gen, Tacoma 4th Gen, or LC250/GX550.
- Light: White SS5 CrossLink (7-pod on 47-inch racks, 8-pod on 54-inch), White Stage Series light bar, or Dual-Color Stage Series light bar. 47-inch and vehicle-specific racks use an SS40 bar; 54-inch racks use an SS50.
- Power level: SS5 CrossLink comes in Sport; the light bars come in Sport or Pro.

What light comes with each size?
47-inch and vehicle-specific racks use a 7-pod SS5 CrossLink or an SS40 bar; 54-inch racks use an 8-pod SS5 CrossLink or an SS50 bar.
Will it clear my sunroof or antenna?
The crossbars are adjustable so you can position them around antennas and sunroofs.
How much weight can it carry?
300 lb dynamic (moving) and 1,000 lb static (parked).
