What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued

- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The Diode Dynamics C2 1.0 SAE Yellow Pro LED Pod is a 2-inch Stage Series LED pod that throws 3000K yellow light through TIR optics, with an amber backlight glow around the main beam. This listing is one pod. It is universal, so it goes anywhere you can mount and wire a small pod: bumpers, racks, ditch brackets or the bed.
Why it works
- Optics: Diode rates its TIR optics among the highest-intensity on the market, so the output goes into the pattern you picked instead of spilling everywhere.
- Housing: powdercoated aluminum casting, polycarbonate lens and a rubber gasket, rated IP69K for high-pressure water.
- Cooling: passive pin-fin heatsink, with a constant-current driver feeding the LEDs. No fan to fail.
- Connector: integrated Deutsch-style DT input, so wiring is plug-in rather than splice-and-hope.
- Durability: passes the SAE J575 durability test.

Universal — not tied to any one truck or SUV. Mounting is up to you; the C2 1.0 Universal Bracket Kit is the matching Diode bracket if your rig doesn't already have a spot. The pod is polarity specific, so mind positive and negative when you wire it.

What beam pattern is this?
Combo: a blend of long-reaching center and wider spread, the all-rounder if you only run one set. It is the only pattern offered on this listing.
What does the backlight do?
It adds an amber accent glow to the pod. It is a low-draw circuit, 0.7 W versus 25.6 W for the main beam. Diode's Heavy Duty Dual Output 4-pin Wiring Harness is built to power its pods with backlight functionality.
What do I need to mount and wire it?
A bracket or mounting spot and a harness. The C2 1.0 Universal Bracket Kit is the matching Diode bracket. The pod has a Deutsch DT input and is polarity specific.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. It is rated IP69K, which covers high-pressure water, with a rubber-gasketed polycarbonate lens on an aluminum housing.
