What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

The SL2 is a fanless, plug-and-play LED for factory 5202/PSX24W fog lights on trucks like the Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon, Wrangler and Gladiator. It comes as a pair in cool white or selective yellow, and the white version is rated at 1,400 lumens per bulb.
Why it works
- Automotive-grade multi-die LED emitters on a copper circuit board, in a die-cast A360 aluminum body.
- Fanless, passive heatsink cooling: nothing to spin, clog or wear out, which matters on a fog light that lives low in the bumper.
- The constant-current driver is built in, with transient protection, so the fitment stays compact behind the housing.
- Direct plug-and-play replacement for the 5202/PSX24W bulb, and Diode lists it as passing the SAE J575 durability test.
- Designed and engineered in the USA, with patents pending.
Options
Pick Cool White (6000K) for a bright white that matches LED headlights, or Yellow (3000K) for selective yellow that many drivers prefer in snow, rain and fog. Both are sold as a pair. Diode publishes the 1,400-lumen figure for the white bulb.

Is this a pair or a single bulb?
A pair. Each part number covers both fog lights in the color you pick.
White or yellow?
Cool white (6000K) is the brightest-looking option and matches LED headlights. Selective yellow (3000K) is the pick if you drive a lot in snow, rain or fog.
Is there a fan in it?
No. The SL2 5202 is fanless and cools passively through its aluminum heatsink.
Does it need any wiring changes?
