What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component
- Finish defects caused by manufacturing, during the first 3 years
- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

Diode Dynamics 31mm SMF2 LED bulbs are a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the factory 31mm festoon bulb (map light, dome light, trunk or cargo light), giving you an LED look at 24 measured lumens per bulb. Diode Dynamics lists them for trucks and SUVs including the Lexus GX460, Lexus GX470, Lexus LX470, Lexus LX570, Nissan Frontier and more.
Why it works
- Swaps the yellowed incandescent glow for a sharper, more modern LED look.
- Plug and play — no modification needed.
- Polarity specific: if it stays dark after install, rotate it 180° in the socket.
Options
Available in Blue, Green, Warm White (3000K), Red, Cool White (6000K) and Amber, sold as a single or a pair. Whites are the usual pick for interior and utility lights; the colors are for custom accent lighting.

Do I need to modify anything?
No. They are a direct replacement for the 31mm festoon bulb and plug straight into the factory socket.
I installed it and it does not light. Now what?
These are polarity specific. Pull the bulb, rotate it 180 degrees in the socket and try again.
Single or pair?
Both are listed. Most housings that come in left and right sides want a pair; a single makes sense for a lone dome, cargo or trunk light.
