What's covered
- Defective products are replaced with the same item, or a comparable one if it's been discontinued
- Diode Dynamics may replace just the failed component

- Moisture beyond normal condensation that points to a seal failure, at Diode Dynamics' discretion
- Free tech support for the life of the product, even after the warranty ends
What's not covered
- Normal condensation, and paint or coating wear from regular use
- Installation or labor costs
- Improper installation or use, abuse, or opening, rewiring or repairing a product
- Swapping lenses on Stage Series lights voids the 3-year coverage (the 8-year coverage stays)
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers; coverage is for the original buyer and isn't transferable
How to make a Diode Dynamics claim
- Keep your proof of purchase; every claim needs it (gift recipients can register within 90 days of the original purchase instead)
- Request an RMA through Diode Dynamics' returns portal and work through diagnosis with their support team
- Nothing goes back without an RMA number; include photos for moisture claims
- For US customers, Diode Dynamics covers shipping on 3-year claims, plus return shipping for inspection on 8-year and lifetime claims

These Diode Dynamics LED boards add full RGBW multicolor to the daytime running lights on 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Laramie, Rebel and Big Horn trucks that came with the factory LED headlight package. Each original white chip gets two high-power LEDs in its place, and white still runs at full brightness as a DRL, so the truck keeps a factory look for daily driving and gets color when you want it.
Why it works
- Clean power: a solid-state relay is included, so the boards draw from the battery while still taking their cues from the factory signals.
- Proper drivers: constant-current, high-power driver modules; the external driver is waterproof and linear regulated.
- No error codes: Diode lists electrical compatibility as tested and confirmed with no electrical issues.
- Fit: CAD-designed for this headlight, on aluminum PCBs with passive cooling.
- Origin: engineered and assembled in USA.
Options
One version: RGBW multicolor and white, part number DD2255. The boards take a JST 5-pin RGBW input, so plan on how you want to control color before you start.
Fitment
Ram 1500, 2019-2024, Laramie, Rebel and Big Horn trims with the factory LED package (the "midline" headlight). If your truck does not have the LED package, these are not for it.

Which Ram 1500 trucks does this fit?
2019-2024 Ram 1500 Laramie, Rebel and Big Horn trucks with the factory LED headlight package. Trucks without the LED package are not a match.
Will the DRLs still work in white?
Yes. White runs at full brightness as a DRL, and the multicolor is added on top of that.
Will it throw errors or flicker?
Diode lists electrical compatibility as tested and confirmed with no electrical issues. The included solid-state relay feeds the boards from the battery while still using the factory signals.
Is a color controller included?
