Bussmann RTMR PowerTray — Toyota 4Runner / FJ Cruiser / Lexus GX

For the DIY crowd: an aluminum tray built to carry the Bussmann (Eaton) Series 15300 Rear Terminal Mini Fuse and Relay panel. The RTMR takes mini (2.8mm) blade fuses and relays and is weather-tight to IP66 with its cover, cable seals and cavity plugs installed.

You get the tray, support leg and mounting hardware. The RTMR, Blue Sea parts, cables, terminals and fuses are sold separately.

Why it works

Three points of contactA support leg anchors the far side to the lower inner fender, and the shape keeps the factory fuse block reachable.

Sealed panelThe RTMR is a compact panel used in marine, construction, agriculture and heavy trucking, with IP66 sealing when fully assembled.

Aluminum, not steel1/8 inch 5052 aircraft aluminum: about a third the weight of steel and more corrosion resistant than stainless.

Edges done by handWaterjet cut to ±0.003 inch, with every edge hand-chamfered at 45 degrees to protect wire sleeving and paint.
