The BantamX HD for the JL and JT pairs an eight-circuit power module with the HD control panel. A single ethernet cable runs into the cab, and a Jeep-specific bracket makes the under-hood install straightforward. The vendor says there is no cutting, no fishing wires and no tapping into the vehicle electrical system.
Each circuit is rated at 30A at 12.5 VDC. You get a 16-position terminal block, two RJ45 controller ports, low voltage cutoff with an optional override, and a 100A inline fuse. Microprocessor-controlled MOSFETs replace fuses and relays, and Bluetooth is built in. Optional ignition control adds a lockout for switches 1 and 2.
The HD panel is smaller than a phone, with silicone-encapsulated tactile switches in a black billet aluminum housing, RGB backlighting, a panel lock-out feature and mounting flexibility. It can sit up to 25 feet from the module on CAT-6. The free app handles dimming, strobe, flash, momentary and switch linking; circuit timers and programmable current limiting need the Pro-Series app.

Use the Jeep-specific bracket to mount the BantamX under the hood. sPOD lists a five-year manufacturer warranty on the system. Bluetooth range from the HD panel is limited, roughly 5 to 15 feet.
