Carolina Metal Masters (CMM Offroad) machined this A-pillar insert to give the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator a proper 1-inch ball mount. It is made from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish, and it replaces a factory cover panel, so it sits flush with the trim.
Use the ball for a phone, a GPS unit or an sPOD touchscreen. With a double-socket arm added, you can aim the device wherever suits you, and the insert works in any of four positions above or below the factory A-pillar handle.
Fitment
Year-specific to the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020-2023 Gladiator (JT). For 2024 and newer, CMM makes a separate version.
It goes on the front A-pillar only.
What's included
(1) 1-inch ball mount, (1) 3D machined base, and all hardware. Suggested add-ons, sold separately: RAM Mount double socket arm for 1-inch balls (PN 860245) and a 1/4-20 female threaded hole with 1-inch ball (PN 200244).
Install notes
Quick install with no drilling or cutting. Remove the existing cover panel, set the CMM insert in its place, and run one bolt into the factory hole.

Does it need drilling?
No. You swap it for the existing cover panel and use one bolt in the factory hole.
Will it fit a 2024 Wrangler?
No. This one covers 2018-2023 Wrangler JL and 2020-2023 Gladiator. A separate part exists for 2024 and newer.
Can it go on the rear A-pillar?
The vendor says it can only be added to the front.
Does the arm come with it?
No. The RAM double socket arm (PN 860245) is sold separately.
