A single locker for several trucks: this 32 spline Dana M220 Air Locker covers the rear axle on a group of late-model trucks, including the Bronco, Ranger, Wrangler JL and Gladiator.
The Air Locker works pneumatically. With the switch flipped, the internal differential gears stop rotating, so both axle shafts turn with the ring gear and the truck keeps the most traction it can get. It engages at any speed. Left off, it acts like a conventional open differential, so on-road drivability and driveline wear are not affected.
The design is two-piece with few moving parts, the patented timed locking mechanism unlocks quickly, and the steel-reinforced, elastomer-bonded annular seal is built for extreme temperatures. Driven in a slower, more controlled way, a locked truck is less likely to get damaged.
Fitment
Rear Dana M220 axle on the Ford Bronco (2021-2023), Ford Ranger (2019-2023), Jeep Wrangler (2018-2023) and Jeep Gladiator (2020-2023), per the vendor tags. The vendor spec also lists a front Dana M210 fitment with the same spline count; confirm your axle with us before ordering.
