The Alpha Shovel is a premium recovery shovel built for overlanding, off-road recovery, camping, snow, sand, and trail work. When you need a durable shovel that packs fast, works hard, and stores cleanly, this DMOS tool is ready to go.
Designed for buyers who want compact storage, fast deployment, and dependable strength, this shovel delivers practical performance without giving up the product-specific details that matter in the field.
Key Features
- Recovery-ready performance: Built for snow, sand, dirt, trail clearing, and camp use.
- Compact outdoor utility: Easier to store and carry than many full-size recovery tools.
- Adventure-focused design: A smart choice for overlanding, camping, off-roading, and winter travel.
Why You'll Want It
This is the kind of shovel buyers choose when they need serious utility, reliable packability, and confidence in changing conditions. Keep it in your vehicle, add it to your recovery setup, or pack it with camp gear so you are ready when terrain, weather, or work gets demanding.
Product Specifications
- This Alpha is the fourth generation of the 2016 Alpha Shovel that started it all.
- Along the way, we've strengthened the blade, removed the teeth for clean driveway lines and beefed up the construction so that this blade can handle it all.
- The Alpha's sharpenable blade blazes right through the harshest conditions when clearing snow and ice from driveways and pathways.
- It’s extra long handle (now offered in two hot colors - red and blue) extends from 45" to 66” in height fitting all bodies ergonomically whether you are 5'1' or 6'10.
- And when winter’s over or whenever you want to store it, the Alpha collapses down to just 22" x 14" x 5", perfect for throwing on a shelf or into a winter gear box.
