DV8 Offroad MTO Series Bumper Spare Tire Swing Gate — Jeep Wrangler JL
The aluminum JL tailgate was not built to carry a heavy aftermarket wheel and tire. This MTO Series swing gate moves that weight onto the DV8 MTO Series steel rear bumper instead, and it opens together with the tailgate.
A dual taper bearing and dual heim pivot keep it opening and closing smoothly, and installation is bolt-on with no drilling. It handles up to a 20-inch wheel and a 38 x 13.5 tire.

Do I need the MTO bumper?
Yes. This add-on tire carrier is designed to work with the DV8 MTO Series steel rear bumper.
What size wheel and tire will it hold?
Up to a 20-inch wheel and a 38 x 13.5 tire.
What wheel offsets work?
4+ inch backspacing is recommended. It is not compatible with -44 offset wheels or wheels wider than 9.5 inches. Factory wheels work with a 2-inch or larger spacer.
Is drilling required?
No. Installation is bolt-on with no drilling.
