What's covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship on upTOP-manufactured parts
- For as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product (the warranty ends if it is sold or transferred)
- upTOP may repair or replace the part, or issue a refund or a credit toward a new upTOP product, at its option
- Products must be installed following upTOP's written or video instructions
What's not covered
- The powder-coated finish, normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust and scratches
- Any customization or modification of the product (this voids the warranty)
- Misuse, neglect, overloading, improper maintenance, or failure to assemble and mount per instructions
- Accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, racing or competition use
- Damage to your vehicle, cargo or other property

The TRUSS is upTOP's modular aluminum bed rack, and the mid-height version (11.75" tall, 10.25" clearance under the crossbars) is the one to pick if you want the rack to stay at or near bed-rail height. It keeps a rooftop tent low behind the cab for better aero and garage clearance, and it leaves a usable cargo area underneath.
The side load panels interlock and slide in 1" increments, so one rack adjusts to beds from 5' to 6.5' long. Installation does not involve drilling; you pick the mounting kit that matches your truck and everything you need comes in the box.
Pick your mounting option
- Factory cargo rails: mounts to the bed's existing rail system (rails not included).
- No cargo rails: no-drill clamp kit with 2" bolts. May not suit every bed; additional parts can be required.
- Retrax XR bed cover: works with Retrax XR and XR Pro covers.
- RamBox: uses both slots of Ram's OEM RamBox cargo rails. Make sure those rails are installed first.
Load rating
400 lb dynamic (on the trail) and 1,200 lb static (parked), with cargo secured and evenly distributed. It is the backbone for tents, awnings, showers, MAXTRAX, RotoPax, axes and shovels, all with upTOP's bolt-on mounts.
upTOP lists fitment for the Tacoma, Tundra, Gladiator, Titan, F-150 and Raptor, Super Duty F-250/F-350/F-450, Ram 1500/2500/3500 and TRX, and Silverado and Sierra 1500/2500/3500. Built to order in the USA; current lead time is 4-6 weeks.

Do I have to drill my bed?
No. Choose the mounting kit for your truck: factory cargo rails, no-drill clamps, Retrax XR cover or RamBox rails.
Will it fit my bed length?
The side panels adjust from 5 ft to 6.5 ft in 1 inch steps.
Mid height or full height?
Mid height (11.75 in.) keeps a tent low and near rail height. Full height (21.25 in.) lines the rack up closer to the roof for long loads over the cab.
How much can it hold?
400 lb on the trail and 1,200 lb parked, properly secured.
What is the lead time?
Built to order, currently 4-6 weeks.
