The Hi-Lite Overland is Backwoods Adventure Mods' hybrid front winch bumper for the 4th gen (2024-2026) Toyota Tacoma, shown here in the no-bull-bar version. "Hybrid" here means steel where strength matters and aluminum where weight matters: an aluminum outer shell over a steel winch plate, cradle and recovery points.
Why it works
The aluminum shell weighs 35 lbs and the steel winch plate and recovery points weigh 42 lbs, about 77 lbs combined. Backwoods says the factory bumper you remove is about 40 lbs, so the net gain is roughly 45 lbs. The steel recovery points tie directly to the frame and have soft edges that are safe for soft shackles. The high-clearance shape helps approach angle, and there are cutouts for most aftermarket pod lights. Designed and made in the USA, black powder coat included, lifetime warranty.
Fitment
Fits all 4th gen (2024-2026) Toyota Tacomas. Compatible with TSS and the parking sensors. Factory fog lights are not compatible.
Winch notes
Takes winches up to 12,000 lb and accepts all hawse fairleads. Most winches fit without issue, but if yours is taller than 10.1 inches you may need to relocate the solenoid or slightly modify the crossmember; Backwoods lists the WARN ZEON (10.5 inches) as one that needs this. Hand cutouts give access to the winch and a view of the spool.
Install notes

Yes. Backwoods lists it as compatible with TSS and the parking sensors.
Can I keep my factory fog lights?
No. Factory fog lights are not compatible; there are cutouts for most aftermarket pod lights instead.
