The spacer and hardware set that drops the TeraFlex TJ HD Gas Tank Skid Plate (kit 4940071) to the correct height when the Jeep is not on a 1 inch body lift. It lets the skid plate sit properly below the factory gas tank.
Why it works
The HD gas tank skid plate is meant to hang below the factory tank. Without a 1 inch body lift, it needs extra drop to clear the tank, and this kit supplies it. TeraFlex notes the arrangement adds ground clearance over the tank.
