If you run TeraFlex quick disconnect sway bar links, the upper stud and its hardware are the parts that take the abuse of being unplugged and reconnected. This replacement upper stud frame bracket kit supplies the stud, hitch pin clip and nut, so you can restore the upper mount on a JK without buying a whole new link set.
TeraFlex describes the kit as all the upper mounting components required to properly mount your sway bar link when it is disconnected for off-road use. In other words, it is what the link hangs from when it is swung up out of the way on the trail.
