The TeraFlex Tera44 HD front axle housing is an upgrade over a stock Dana 44 for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKs on up to a 3" lift. This version comes loaded with a 5.13 ring and pinion, an ARB air locker and TeraFlex HD ball joints, so the gearing, the locker and the ball joints are handled in one purchase instead of three.
Why it works
- Built-in armor: the housing has integrated lower control arm skid plates.
- Stronger track bar mount: a reinforced front track bar mount ties into the spring pad for added strength.
- Heavy brackets: axle brackets are 1/4" thick CNC laser cut steel.
- Loaded: 5.13 ring and pinion, ARB air locker and TeraFlex HD ball joints are already in it.

2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, intended for 0-3" lifts. TeraFlex part number 3552513.
Install notes
- New inner axle shafts are required.
- Some existing components have to be transferred over from your current front axle.
- It may require driveshaft modifications, such as TeraFlex's High-Angle Rzeppa CV Driveshafts or its High-Angle Rzeppa CV Joint Kit (part 1744014).
