The rear axle takes a lot of sideways load, and off-road driving multiplies it. The track bar is the piece that keeps the axle centered under the Jeep, so a weak one flexes and lets the axle wander. TeraFlex says its HD Forged Adjustable Track Bar is 230 percent stiffer than the factory bar, and it is adjustable so you can re-center the axle after a lift. It bolts into the factory locations, so no cutting or welding is involved.
Fitment
Fits the Jeep Wrangler JK, 2007-2018, for lift heights from stock up to 6 inches. For lifts over about 2.5 inches the vendor pairs it with its rear track bar brackets: 1954776 for a 2.5 inch lift, 1954777 for a 3-6 inch lift, or 1954202 for a 2.5 inch spacer lift. Those brackets are sold separately.
Install notes
Bolts into the factory locations with no cutting or welding. If you are running a lift that needs a bracket, plan on buying the matching rear track bar bracket at the same time. TeraFlex also notes this is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who takes the rig off road.

Do I need a track bar bracket?
Depending on lift height, yes. TeraFlex lists 1954776 for 2.5 inch, 1954777 for 3-6 inch and 1954202 for a 2.5 inch spacer lift. Brackets are sold separately.
Does installation need welding?
No. It bolts into the factory locations without cutting or welding.
Is it front or rear?
This one is the rear track bar.
Does it work on a stock-height JK?
Yes. The lift range is 0 to 6 inches.
