This kit is the full set of parts for raising, or "flipping," the tie rod over the knuckle on a TJ. Doing so adds an extra 3" of ground clearance for the tie rod, which is the part most likely to take a hit on the trail. The drag link and tie rod ends plus the insert sleeves come together, so you are not hunting for individual pieces.
Fitment
Listed for the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006). It is aimed at owners converting to a flipped, high steer arrangement, rather than those who just need a replacement end.
Install notes
Flipping the tie rod requires drilling the driver side knuckle taper to a 0.75" hole. That is a machining step on a steering component, so be certain you are comfortable with it or have a shop do it. Once the knuckle is drilled, the kit supplies the end replacements and insert sleeves needed to complete the swap.
