Shock bar pins have a habit of working loose, and once they do the shock eyelet can shift side to side, which cuts into how well the shock does its job. This TeraFlex kit replaces the front lower bar pin on TJ, XJ, ZJ and MJ Jeeps, and in doing so widens the range of shocks you can run at that mount.
Why it works
- Fixes a common wear point: removes the bar pin that tends to loosen.
- More shock choices: increases the range of shocks that fit the front lower mount.
Fitment
1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ, 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ and 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche MJ, front lower shock mount.
Install notes
The kit installs in place of the factory shock bar pin. The vendor information gives no further install requirements. If you are also changing the upper mount, TeraFlex sells a matching front upper shock stem eliminator kit.
