Stock axle steering on a lifted JK has weak points, and these high steer knuckles target them for 4-6 inch lift setups. They are cast from HD ductile iron, reinforce key section areas that are prone to stress and deflection, and keep the correct steering geometry angles for good highway manners.
Fitment
Made for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. TeraFlex lists it under its JK line, and the vendor data ties it to the JK chassis only, so it is not a fit for the older TJ or the newer JL. Made for Wrangler and Unlimited JKs on Dana 30 / Dana 44 axles with a 4-6 inch lift. It does not affect the operation of factory stability and traction control, including ESP and ABS.
Install notes
This is not a standalone fix. The drag link has to be flipped over the front axle to correct the track bar angle, optimize steering geometry and improve handling, and that hardware is not included. The knuckles must be used with an HD Drag Link Flip Kit (1853930, or 1853905 with the HD Tie Rod Kit). They require aftermarket wheels with 4.75 inches of backspacing or less, or a 1.25 inch Wheel Offset Adapter Pair (1055000 x 2) for stock wheels, not included. They are not compatible with Falcon Nexus EF steering stabilizers when used with a factory-style track bar bracket or axle housing.

Can I install these by themselves?
No. They must be used with an HD Drag Link Flip Kit, which is not included.
What lift height are they for?
4-6 inches.
Can I run stock wheels?
Only with a 1.25 inch Wheel Offset Adapter Pair (1055000 x 2). Otherwise you need aftermarket wheels with 4.75 inches of backspacing or less.
Do they affect ESP or ABS?
No, TeraFlex says they do not affect those systems.
