This knuckle beefs up the front steering on a TJ, increases ground clearance for the steering components and restores correct steering geometry. That last point matters for how the Jeep drives on the highway. It is cast from HD ductile iron and reinforces the key areas that tend to take stress and deflection.
Fitment
Listed for the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) with the Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axle. TeraFlex also states it fits 1994-1997 YJ Wrangler, ZJ Grand Cherokee, XJ Cherokee and MJ Comanche models with Dana 30 front axles, but those require additional modifications.

This is not an all-inclusive kit, and it requires additional modifications. It does not include the HD drag link kit, HD tie rod kit, drop pitman arm, sway bar mount kit or sway bar links. Depending on your build, you may also need a front sway bar quick disconnect kit, a High Steer front track bar frame bracket kit and/or offset wheels. Is it a complete high steer kit?
No. It is not all-inclusive and does not include the drag link kit, tie rod kit, drop pitman arm, sway bar mount kit or sway bar links.
Will it fit other Jeeps?
TeraFlex says it also fits 1994-1997 YJ Wrangler, ZJ Grand Cherokee, XJ Cherokee and MJ Comanche models with Dana 30 front axles, but additional modifications are required.
What else might I need?
Possibly a front sway bar quick disconnect kit, a High Steer front track bar frame bracket kit and/or offset wheels.
